Gypsum board manufacturing process

1. Batching section

The material in the silo is conveyed by horizontal and vertical conveying equipment and sent to the belt scale by the rigid impeller feeder. Excess materials are sent back to the silo through conveying equipment such as return conveyors and elevators. The raw materials such as building gypsum, modified starch, coagulant, glass fiber (used in the production of water-resistant gypsum board and fire-resistant gypsum board) and other raw materials are respectively metered and then mixed in a screw mixer and then continuously fed into a vertical mixer. The blowing agent is added to the storage tank. During the processing, the foaming agent and moisture are respectively sent to the foaming device by the metering pump, and compressed air is introduced to generate stable foam, which is sent to the vertical mixer. After the edge glue is prepared in the tank, it is sent to the glue spraying ports on both sides of the forming station, and the tape is sprayed on both sides of the paper on the gypsum board. The upper and lower protective paper is transported to the paper rack by the electric hoist.

2.Forming section

The forming lower paper is sent to the forming station through the paper storage machine, the tensioning device, the scoring device and the deviation correction device, and the gypsum slurry flows from the vertical mixer to the forming lower paper. The forming upper paper machine is sent to the forming station after passing through the paper storage machine, the tensioning device, the deviation correcting device, and the glue. The forming machine is plate type and the thickness can be adjusted. The forming machine collects the upper paper, lower paper, and gypsum slurry and extrudes it into a board with a specified thickness. The formed gypsum board is smoothly sent to the cutting machine through the solidification belt conveyor and the conveying roller table. Enter the 1-type transverse conveyor, and then send it to the dryer after approaching the roller table.

3.Drying section

The gypsum board is sent to each layer of the dryer by the bridge distributor according to the program. The dryer is divided into two zones, three zones, and four zones according to different output and heat sources. While the gypsum board moves slowly in the dryer, it continuously exchanges heat with the hot air flowing in the longitudinal direction. The board absorbs heat, the temperature rises, and the free moisture in the board slowly evaporates but does not destroy the crystal water of dihydrate gypsum. When the gypsum board leaves the dryer, its moisture content should be less than or equal to 1%. After the gypsum board is dried by the dryer, it is cooled by the cooling section of the dryer, and then the board is ejected from the dryer in an orderly manner by the ejector.

4.Trimming and stacking section

The gypsum board from the dryer is conveyed by roller conveyor, transverse conveyor, and laminator, and then sent to the trimmer, which is precisely cut to the required size, and the finished gypsum board is sent to the stacking by the finished roller conveyor and stacker. After the stacking, gypsum board is sent to the finished product warehouse for storage by forklift.
